Brother PT-D210: Power turns off when printing

How to fix it

Weak batteries, wrong adapter, or batteries inserted incorrectly. Use AD-24ES / AD-24ESA (or a listed variant).

• Display stays blank after power on
• Too much blank tape on both sides of the text
• Nothing prints, or characters are malformed
• Settings cleared on their own
• Blank horizontal line through the label
• Device locked up (keys do nothing)
• Tape does not feed or gets stuck
• Tape jammed inside
• Cutter does not cut cleanly
• Want to start a fresh label
