Brother PT-D210: Blank horizontal line through the label

How to fix it

Dust on the print head: remove the cassette and gently wipe the head up and down with a dry cotton swab.

Other problems

• Display stays blank after power on
• Too much blank tape on both sides of the text
• Nothing prints, or characters are malformed
• Settings cleared on their own
• Device locked up (keys do nothing)
• Power turns off when printing
