Brother PT-D220: Too much blank tape on both sides of the text

How to fix it

Label → Margin → Half or Narrow. Use Chain Print for batches. The first 25 mm lead-in cannot be removed.

Other problems

• Display stays blank after power on
• Nothing prints, or characters are malformed
• Settings cleared on their own
• Blank horizontal line through the label
• Device locked up (keys do nothing)
• Power turns off when printing
• Tape does not feed or gets stuck
• Tape jammed inside
• Cutter does not cut cleanly
• Want to start a fresh label
